Official: "What did you do to your car today?" Thread

i did not do it myself but took it to the dealership to get the suspension adjusted. It has gotten loose in the past 7 years and now finally is stiif as it should be, more pleasant to drive now.

Also, had some noises from the cockpit sorted out, it drives like new again

DCC calibration?

To be honest, I don't know, my knowledge on that is almost zero. Luckily my cousin owns a VW dealership :D

Motherf… the car still has the same noise. The car has been with Porsche for 4 weeks and still noise. I am so pissed off. I am going back again on Sunday but will give them a piece of my mind. It is ridiculous.

What noise? The creaking from the door?

I may have fixed this buttsechs. Today I was driving at 100 KPH and opened the roof of the car. I moved my hand on the front of the roof probably cleaning something off. Then as I was driving I closed the roof and quite possibly it locked in place properly. After that I didn’t hear any sound. But still to test this shitknuckle. Will probably spend the weekend cleaning out dust properly from the roof if sound comes again rather than going to inept monkeys at Porsche.

Sound came back. I have narrowed it down to back of the roof. Will take it to shop on Sunday. What a disaster. One day there is sound. Next day there isn’t. Driving me mad. Should’ve bought a new car instead for AED 200 Gs more. :bleh:

Another week another drop off of the car to Porsche. This time it seemed the technician was competent. He was able to identify all the noises. He was also able to hear, see and repeat what I was saying all on his own.

Let’s hope the car comes back fully fixed this time.

2.5 months I owned the car. 1 month plus it has stayed in the shop. Last time buying a used car. I saved 200Gs but damn man, this is too much work to explain every time there is an issue.

Car looks and runs dope. If the sounds go away that saving will be worth it.

We were driving home last night after dinner. I was exiting the highway and upon slow down on the off ramp we heard a loud bang on the passenger underside of the car. I get home and look and there is a huge gouge on bottom of the passenger side rocker panel.

Neither of us saw anything on the road when we were driving and when I reviewed the PDR video of that section of road I don't see anything either.

I am so annoyed.

(Sorry about the dirt, it was raining earlier in the day)

That the corvette?

Meanwhile, whatasapped the Porsche dealer guy. Car still not ready.

Well, I have an appointment for Thursday to get a repair estimate.

It's not so bad if you aren't looking underneath the car. It still needs to be fixed to avoid any future issues like paint separation.
