Crawdaddy79's dash cam collection of vehicular asshattery.

 I'm more of a 'wait and see' kind of guy - if there's no *real* danger, I don't honk.

Not that honking ever does any good, anyway.

You also have one of those high pitched horns that I have found don't do much; I've given up using the horn in my brother's corolla

Great video bro! Had some good laughs. That getaway guy cutting across the whole universe was epic.

Maybe its just me but it seems Lincoln drivers are more @sshat than others. Their cars being so huge and "indestructible" might have something to do with it.

Yeah the getaway car was crazy - I wish the camera was better able to capture how many cars he perfectly cruised through (you can kind of see their edges). Great piece of driving, from a guy who has probably lived off of that side street for a long time.

So is this a east coast thing, a big city thing, or what? I've seen some stupid ****, but not quite like this. It's like a special kind of stupid. Not entirely destructive, but just weird overall. I realize this is a focused video, but I'm out and about in my car every weekday and don't see the same level of shenanigans... and we have Washington state drivers invade our roads sometimes. :bleh:

I don't think it's necessarily an east coast thing. It really seems to be concentrated in the Northern Virginia area. In DC there's the typical city "I don't give a **** about you" drivers, but over here it's not like that. It's more of a "I don't know where I am and I don't realize there are other cars around me." Go 20 miles north to Maryland and it's a different story entirely. There it's "I'm not going to let you pass me or merge in front of me, and I'll go 100 MPH to prevent it if I have to."

Episode 4 is done.

Went with softer music, and rendered with Vegas 11's Sony AVC codec (I think it's a little smoother and clearer than the other vids) (oh, and it doesn't crash while rendering) (it's a plus, I think). Because this worked so well I went ahead and bought the upgrade from Vegas 9 to 11.

Please enjoy!

for shaky video you might want to check our vReveal, works great for removing shakycam and there's a free version for AMD users.

I miss the use of the earlier unhappy face on the license plates... ;)
Noted. I try to put a something different for each episode but creatively I'm at my limit. I thought about making a happy face with a pixelated middle finger beside it, but it looked pretty bad... like an erect penis blurred out, so I just left the happy face as you see it.

The problem was the lens was rattling around, warping the image. The camera already has very good image stabilization, but it couldn't keep up with the way things were moving around, and the finished video is impossible to deshake (I'm convinced). I tried a lot of stuff, and I could only make it marginally less shaky. Something else was the video during playback would have a sort of line wave at times, similar to when you turn Vsync off for a game.

At about 1:58 youre speeding to up to steal the yellow light on the intersection :D

*irony*

 I think you're mistaking my video speed acceleration for real acceleration. ;)

(Unless you're talking about the blinking yellow light a little later - always blinks yellow unless there's a fire truck needing to cross the intersection)

k, my bad.

The ending was sweet though

That green Escort at the light was mind-blowing.

If I ever win the lottery, I'm buying Grave Digger and running over fools.

I'm subscribed to a lot of those channels... Lots of stupid stuff out of Korea/Taiwan as well. For some reason, Eastern Europe/Russia and certain parts of Asia have tons of people driving around with dash cams.

I'm sure that video makes it look worse than it is... but wow.

Well, at least what you experience isn't as bad as this:

[yt]XasWNT_KVHs[/yt]

That 3'rd accident is exactly what happened about 7 years ago when I first came to Austin. A guy cut across on a red light right into my path and SMACK.

But yah, driving rules and regulations, who needs them
