There was a time where i thought the Rage3D hamsters had been replaced with newer, fresher, alive hamsters.
Im starting to think that just like the Canadian Army replacing old outdated weapons with slightly but still old and outdated weapons, they were just being replaced by old, geriatric, near dead, but still alive hamsters.
 
I'm sorry to see Rage3D is dead. I don't like to constant (slow) chat of Discord, haven't really found it a reasonable alternative for topics and asychronous discussions. Reddit is far too massive, with far too many dumb repeating topics.

So, where do I find a different but live Rage3D? Preferably one where your post shows up within a moment, instead of after half a minute? :bleh:
 
I am mostly on Hardforums. Vibrant community with some regulars. Also you can actually find information that you are looking for. Plus their deals section is also a good one.

I tried overclock.net but that isn’t as fluid as Hard. Also the forum software of Hard is best in class.
 
Theres also the overclockers.co.uk one its pretty good... its owned by the store but still lively I find.

I come by once a year or so to take a look at how things are going. After what I dealt with though, I doubt I'll ever come back here as a regular. I might try the discord.

Agree. I don't like discord. Damn it... rage3d is the place. When I stop posting.. then I'm dead people. Just know Rage was my home!

This place has been my online home since I got the internet, I may not stop by much but I really did enjoy my time here. I'm sad there wasn't a new generation of people joining Rage3D, but that's the way the internet works. More :manches2: for us.

I joined this place when I was ~16, sleeping in a roach and rat infested shithole on a dirty bare mattress and I'd shitpost on here (and play CS with the gang) to cope. Now I'm in my mid-thirties, my wife and I own a nice home in a nice neighborhood, we are expecting our first kid at the end of the year. I'll always stop by and check up on my fellow ATI fanatics.
 
Glad to hear life is treating you better Sittal. As long as folk check in and let us all know that we're all still kicking and alive!
