How about dem gas prices?

F150 lightning base model starts at about $40k. XLT at about $50k. Lariat at about $65k. Only the platinum model is over $80k.

Add federal tax rebates of $7500 off and you can get one cheaper than a used F150 gasser

I am really ****in' interested in that truck. If I can get one with 300 mile range for under $50k, I think I might be ready to move to an EV truck.

Like most people my issue is my house isn't ready for EV charging yet. Need a new panel, higher voltage, line run to the garage etc...

And at that point might as well get solar too.

Like bill said that's probably $20k easy. Not many have that laying around.

no extended range on the base model

and the XLT with extended range starts at 72,474

and why i got the Lariat for 5k more

$10k for extended range is pretty ridiculous; but you do get $7,500 off that no matter what
ford pro charging station included
but i do need a 100 amp circuit and a solar smart switch to use it

it a work truck i get most of it off if i can use it in 7 years of taxes

Being able to write most of it off is nice! I would have to charge outside, because a full size won't fit in my garage.

i may have to redo the beam in my carport only got 87.5 inches height if i redo the beam i can add 3 inches

got to see what a SmartCap EVOc Commercial and a ladder rack total height is on it

https://www.na.rsismartcap.com/products/smartcap-evo-c
if i build a low ladder rack it and the ladders will add about 7 inches height

after 90.5 inches height it parks in the driveway and i need the charger at the front of the carport

and a off switch so others with EV's can't stop by and charge when i'm out

Imagine coming home, and some random dude parked in your driveway charging in the future when EVs are everywhere.

Electricity thefts are on the rise. News at 11...

Gas prices jumped 10 cents overnight here......

We're looking at 1.79/L for regular at the moment. I filled up yesterday and it was at 1.69/L lol. I got lucky lol.

even Diesel is around 2.35-2.45/L right now. It's beyond ridiculous. The first freight forwarding businesses are struggling already. And prices are still on the rise...

i've never seen Diesel been more expensive than premium super before. N e v e r. I know a ton of people who got a Diesel because they have to drive 150 kilometers or more every day, and now they're seriously p*ssed, of course, because on top of the fuel price they have to pay a real high tax for driving a Diesel....

What a lot of people still don't understand is, that everything will get a lot pricier due to these ***** fuel prices.

Back in 2008 when I owned a diesel VW, diesel fuel was always more expensive than premium.

I know it sucks, but hey, every cent you pay more for a drop of fuel, is a drop of blood from a Russian invader.

DAMN, that sounds way darker than I thought it would.

There's supposed to be several new EV trucks coming out in the next two years. Once they get that range to 450-500 miles, and the price in the 50-60$k range, I'll probably bite. Sounds petty, but there are a few trips I take every year to the mountains, and 300 miles won't cut it as there's very little to no charging infrastructure in that area.

Hmm,
Our government reduced petrol (gas) price by about 6% and electricity prices by about 15-20%. Furthermore put a freeze on prices of both till July 1st
