How about dem gas prices?

Literally told you your response wouldn't be worth reading.

You know a lot has happened in a year, right? Time didn't stop in Biden's first week? Keystone XL would not have helped the US, at all, and wouldn't have been completed by now.

Read it and weep.

Meanwhile, in 2020 Trump got oil production CUT. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/12/...ESmG092j3zocVx_tC6cQdJLVcG36m1VXdXQh040EqVilM

How them boots taste, bill? Really sad that you lack self-respect.

Meme of the day without a picture, because posting one is such a pita.

"Gas prices are so high it's cheaper to buy cocaine, and run everywhere".

Yeah guys, I created this with the hope it wouldn't go to PnR.
Maybe I'll redirect the anger.

Did I mention I'm really glad I got rid of the Tribeca and got a Tesla.

(EV owners are the worst).....

So much is politicized these days it’s tough to talk anything that impacts the economy or general welfare without going into P&R territory.

btw per the Keystone XL pipeline - not political just economics and logistics - the pipeline which even if it was approved would not have been operational until approximately 2030.

Also the oil that it would have moved is still moving; just by other means and routes. It's not like that produced oil just stopped and didn't hit the market because a pipeline that wouldn't open for another 8 years was cancelled.

Seriously people...

Honestly, researchers have been pointing to the fact that the "easy" oil has already been found and extracted, and that as the years go by oil extraction will just get harder and harder, leading to increased prices globally for everyone. Granted, fracking pushed that reality back a couple decades, but it's inevitable at this point. So I don't understand why people are upset with higher gas prices now when we've been overdue for $10 /gal gas in the States for a couple decades now.

Yeah especially considering most of the world has been paying way more than us for a while now. Can't last forever.

be great if you could get a EV you need i got a cash down payment on a $80000 ford lightning lariat extended range

i might get it next year ........ might :bleh:

and i plan on covering my new roof with a 20k solar system this summer
if APS lets me

they can't make enough EV and they cost way too much for most people and it will be 10+ years before that gets better

and they don't have the range for anything but in town driving
i would need to stop for a hour or two to charge every 300 miles with the ford lightning on a long trip
if you could find a charging station when and where you need it
and it maybe 15 years before batteries are better and charging stations are everywhere

...........
we have the oil and tons of it we are not using
we need to clear the way for all drilling everywhere we have oil .
get the EPA and everyone else of their backs

we could export more oil and gas than Russia
