Anyways, it wouldn’t be a proper rage3d thread if you went through the whole process and then decided to buy what was recommended. :bleh:

:lol: I’m actually planning on buying exactly what was recommended. I just have to put it off a bit.

The Ryzen with V cache will drop and Alder Lake so maybe you have a different base to choose....
Can't wait for a Lazy october adventure ... :lol:

It’s not super high on my priorities list at the moment. I’ll get the best bang for the buck when the time comes back around.

Nunz mentioned the new Intel stuff being released in October, so I might wait a bit even if I don't have to. Paying less is always better :)
 
Quick update: No upgrades incoming. My PC and peripherals are no longer with me, so I'll decide what I want to do over the coming weeks.
 
I just realized I said 12th gen CPU in my posts, I meant 11th gen. Mixed it up with SKT 1200, don't mind me.

I gave it to my grandson. It's still a great running pc that can run a good bit depending on settings. He just got a job to save up to build and I wanted to give him a head start. He deserves it :)
