Dragons Dogma PC Discussion

I just bought at $17 on Capcom Steam sale.

So strange to have my pawns pickup things off the ground and do the obligatory crate-smashing for me. :lol:
 
I'm concerned about all the cloud saving. Sometimes it's awfully slow. I hope they have made a long-term commitment to the game.

So far they have. I started a new game on the 360 with one of my profiles and things are going smoothly. You need help on PC I have a lvl 200 Ranger willing to help, or maybe I have some stuff you could use. Send FR to kingrat13 if interested..I always use low level support pawns in my journeys :)

Looks good. Ran around the map again taking care of some of my quest backlog, and gave her another sword and a circlet to replace the helm. Did you start the game on hard? I am, and she's holding up well and will get better with more levels.

Finally got around to installing this and I'm only about 3 hours in but already loving it! I'm in the encampment and have bought some dagger skills (playing a Strider). However, when I go to add the skills (e.g. helm splitter) they do not show up in the list as a possible primary or secondary skill. I do have daggers equipped because that's all that Striders can use right? Scarlet Kisses is the only skill that shows up in the list. What am I missing?
 
Been a while since i last played it, so i cant help, but do remember the skills being a bit tricky sometimes, and there are some nice guides online that can help you.
 
I really wanted to like this game but I cannot get past the crappy inventory UI and management. I'll eventually pick it up again and slog through it, and maybe I'll end up appreciating it but as of right now its flaws are keeping me from liking the game.

If I played it originally on console years ago I probably would have a better appreciation for it.
