Cat 14.7 RC1 Out

Im convinced that Prime1 is somehow friends with kyle or brent, as there is no way he could get away with some of the stuff he pulls on there if he wasnt.

Is it me or has AMD sucked at releasing drivers since ATI became part of AMD? I haven't tried these 14.7s yet. Everything else released since December 2013 has sucked. All of them have caused BSODs. I can't even play Wolfenstein. I'm running a single 7970. This crappy driver stuff is about to make me go over to the dark side. I've been using ATI products since late 1999/early 2000 and never had this many problems. Sometimes I wonder how AMD still exists.

You have something else going on that isn't the AMD driver, I have very few problems with the driver. Sure one or two, but that is the same on both sides of the fence. I just bought Wolfenstein and the game runs fine with my one 7970.

I'm running the 13.12 drivers right now. When I use newer drivers, one or more of the monitors fail to come out of stand-by all together or they just flash. I always get the same error when the BSOD comes up.

I never get BSOD's, to me sounds like something hardware/driver related. But heck if you can run without getting them on an old driver I would probably stick with that rather then trying to figure out what is going on with the BSOD, that can be a nightmare as well. If I was having that issue I probably would try a reload of windows first, could be incompatible drivers as well.

A fresh install of windows even had problems. I installed a SSD with a fresh 7 install a few months ago along with the newest drivers out at the time. I was having problems within a few days. i went back to the 13.12s and the problem went away. I've been trying each new release ever since then.

Avoid the last flash update if you can guys, it's highly unstable.

Or just turn off hardware acceleration (EDIT: in flash, of course, not the browser).

starting to look a whole lot like nvidia surround... come on AMD.

With me getting my oculus glasses in a few weeks at most, I can finally ditch the side monitors when it comes to gaming at least, so with four 290's in quad crossfire and just using a single monitor, it's way more than enough for the long haul.

The glasses will do one thing that no extra monitors can, which is head tracking so I can look in any direction, and without ever moving the mouse at all, and still be in the game environment....With 3 monitors you're still forced to look at them and use the mouse to change viewpoints.

you seem to be overestimating oculus support a tad.

1) Latest Flash is VERY stable, but I use 12.06 (yes!) - all drivers above have some and random critical bugs, but 14.x line is fuc* up totally.

2) Man, it is not solution it is like "dont use GFX".

IMHO AMD simply dont have a money to right developing software.
