Buying a new system suggestions for parts needed..

He would need to check US pricing. I'll probably be gone for a while, so good luck with your new setup logical

Oh, that Q model from Sabrent isn't very good apparently, there's a reason it's priced so low. I believe the Sabrent model you want to buy is the "Rocket PLUS"

Will take the luck. In out on vacation all I'm start ordering when I get back home.

 yes I missed that context, KAC. The only issue, is the "Q" series being QLC which makes it, in my opinion, a worse drive than the Crucial P5. P5 is TLC.

I firmly believe quality PCIE3.0 drives will handle RTX IO with no issues, and if it does become an issue, PCIE4.0 drives will be much cheaper by then. We're about to start the push for PCIE5.0 drives with Intel introducing it by the end of this year.

PCIE 4.0 is a requirement for RTX IO according to Nv. Both GPU and SSD.

Here's what it's looking like. Might go grab it all at microcenter tonight

CPU: 5900x
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo Series RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3600 PC4-28800 CL16
MOBO: Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra AMD AM4 ATX
CPU Cooler: Corsair H150i Pro XT 360mm (I don't think the cappelix does anything better?)
Decent M2 Drive: Crucial p5 1tb
Case: Lian li o11
Case fans: 3x lian li connectable ones forget the model

going cappelix and exchanging the 3 lian li fans or corsair ll120 just to make life easier.

Waits for Nunz to come in and say:

Should’ve gone b die for extra 200 pen0r marks
Should’ve bought Dark Hero 8 for same 200 bonus pen0r marks
Should’ve bought Noctua fans for 2 db extra silence
Should’ve gone with EK AIO (so that it fails in 2 months while you are sleeping) or gone full water

Otherwise tight build.

:bleh:

J/k Nunz

Post pics when done.

Picked up the case, cpu, ram and m2 drive.

Motherboard, cpu cooler and cpu fans were out of stock Ordering on Amazon tonight

All the parts have come in and I have started to put things together. I had to go into work today so I didnt have as much time as I usually would on a Saturday. Might finish it tonight.

Looking good. Only because it gives you the option over other cases, I would suggest mounting the rad vertically on the side as intake so it's not sucking up all of the GPU's hot air. Fans at the bottom help the GPU significantly, too.

I thought about that but decided not to because I'm going to leave the side panel off anyway.
