Pirelli P-Zeroes. They were basically new when I took delivery of the car.
Should be decent. Just make sure you don't overdrive them and get too much heat into them or they might chunk.
They won't chunk, but they are very loud when being driven hard. The squeal and howl more than most tires.
You can chunk a ton of street tires easily with a front heavy car from overdriving.
I've used PZeros on two cars and tracked them. Well aware of their capabilities (or lack there of).
We've all done it.![]()
No we all haven't...
Oh right. Sorry, forgot you hopped onto a track and were instantly an expert and never over-drove your car or tires ever.
No. But I didn't immediately overdrive the car and most people don't either. 90% of new people to performance driving are way under theirs and the car's potential. There is a percentage of knuckleheads who hit the track thinking they are Lewis Hamilton, but they are the minority.
Road course sure. But we are talking autox here. The number of newbies I see over driving and understeering around is insane. I would think its far more common on an autox to go over the limits than a road course. Tighter turns, slower speeds, more last second corrections due to not knowing the course.
Car 2x uglier now![]()
Can't say I'm a fan, but I'm not the one paying the bills on it so enjoy it!
Went to wash my car but it's been raining...
So I got all the dirt off with a mitt and hit it with the hoselooks lean enough for this rainy week.
