Official NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series & H100 Thread

Picked up a Gigabyte 4090 gaming OC today. Card is identical to the 4080. With the way they’re packaged and the only identifier on the card being the almost impossible to see little white sticker on the little visible part of the PCB, I wouldn’t be surprised if you start hearing about people returning the Gigabyte 4080’s in 4090 boxes.

Cyberpunk benchmark went from Max FPS 52.6 on an overclocked 3090 to Minimum FPS 55.54 out of the box @ 4k max settings quality DLSS.

4070 Ti for 800$. Seems Nvidia is still in those mining days. Screw them. I am getting out of PC gaming if this will be the norm for pricing going forward.

That puts it perfectly in place with all the 30 and 40 series cards it’s a little faster than a 3080, a little slower than a 3090 by all the old info when it was a 4080 12GB.

Mhmmm...........

When banks finally draft their first bank loan approval papers for GPU purchases, you'll be one of the first to sign them.

Nice. I have the same card. It's bloody excellent. Such a big gen to gen uplift. Much happier with it than I was the 3090.

Which means that you are paying for the same value. Not better value.

What boost clocks are you getting? its suppose to be like 2535 but when I ran Port Royal, it showed to be hovering around 2790 for most of the run with frequent jumps to 2805 and minor drops here and there but never lower than 2600 straight out of the box.

4070 Ti seems like the biggest joke of the whole line-up. At least with the others you're getting more performance than what you could previously have purchased.

Around 2850mhz with +100 on the core and default power limit. With power limit at 133% it sits around 3GHz.

I wouldn't bother KAC. I leave mine at default power limit for gaming. There's barely any difference between 2850 @ default power and 3GHz @ max power in gaming, except an extra 150 watts.

Gigabyte just came in stock on Newegg. It's the wind force model and about $200 more than what I paid for my ASUS TUF. Decisions... :hmm:

Hrmm Windforce has 106% power limit, not sure why you'd change from the TUF. The Gaming OC has 133% power limit, if that's what you're looking for.

Gone now. Screw it. Will live with the dud. Just gonna add clocks so that it operates at 2800/+1000 memory daily.
