Ok, I need to spell things out for you.
The pirate bit was posted because I thought it was funny. You saw the , right? Get it now? It's absurd, so I thought others might get a kick out it.
You haven't posted a damn thing in response to questions about privacy issues except "OMG FREAKING OUT" or other idiocy....absolutely nothing that adds information to the discussion. Nada.
Now, if you have some REAL links, sources, whatever, that accurately answers anyones privacy concerns, feel free to post them. I outlined my exact concern in post #112. And the only responses I've seen are this horse****
Go live in a Faraday cage with tinfoil for extra precaution. It's your only hope. Most of the crying was from things with the preview program. I think that has been mentioned already. The rest is FUD that's dismissed with simple Google search. There is a nice bandwagon of people preaching about bad settings that can't actually explain why. They just read it.
Same answer I gave to moshpit applies to you as well. And you obviously haven't got an answer either.
SHOW me where I cried, as opposed to asking simple questions. You can't.
To put things in perspective for you, because you obviously need some perspective, the windows 10 thread has quite a few of my posts showing that I'm annoyed because MSI hasn't released drivers for 10 for my laptop yet.
Why annoyed? Because I want to install 10. Now doesn't that seem a bit at odds with your childish and idiotic claims that I'm crying and spreading FUD?
I already have my answers that I'm satisfied with, and will move ahead with the install when I feel I can without driver hell.
Now, what I have done is post reasonable questions, like "Is there anything to worry about?" and posted level headed responses from sites like Ars Technica showing that the FUD is overblown.
What I've gotten in return is a rash of trolling and grade school level bull**** from the likes of you and moshpit. And if that's the BEST you clowns have, let me know. I'll just ignore ya from here on out rather than waste my time trying to discuss this garbage here.
Lazy, I'm not sure that post was directed at you but more so others in general. You had concerns and we're going to wait. No harm in that. I just don't worry about that kind of thing. I worry more about hackers stealing my stuff like cc or bank info that rumored privacy concerns. If there is concrete fact of it then its possibly time to worry.
You might as well start ignoring now, Lazy8s.
i've seen a bunch of posts by Lazy8 concerned about Microsoft spying on him, but didn't he get an Ipad recently? I didn't read any posts about him showing concerns about Apple spying on him, or the various crap they've put in their phones/OS to spy on you.
All of a sudden Microsoft became this evil corporation out to get you as soon as they released Windows 10. Get the F outta here.
Hope he got rid of all his smart phones/ipad and got one of this dumb flip phones and installed Linux on everything he owns.
Just curious does anyone know that Microsoft uploads your wireless password and stores it on their servers, it is encrypted so some will think it is ok but I do not.
Microsoft has your wireless password.
"The concept behind Wi-Fi Sense is a solid one: To make it easier for visitors to find and connect to Wi-Fi networks. Wi-Fi Sense lets you share your network with others without seeing the actual network passwords -- the passwords are encrypted and stored on Microsoft's servers so they aren't visible to outside users.

Ok, so lets say someone gets my wi-fi password... then what?
What? Please explain. You making this personal?Only your mind...
The pot is not boiling yet.Shouldnt you be dead now then?
Are they going to sit outside my home and use up my bandwidth? Then your owned! Was that a real question?
So your saying you don't really care Microsoft has your wifi password?
