Jeremy Clarkson has been back to the BBC to help finish the Top Gear series
I saw 2 episodes of American Top Gear, and couldn't watch any more. It was crap.
I saw one episode of English Top Gear, and I was hooked instantly. The cinematography, the sound, the banter of the hosts...they had the whole package.
You have to have the right people in the host seat to make a great show, and the combination of May, Hammond and Clarkson was the right fit for the show.
The new guy may like cars, but I doubt he could do a lap in a Pagani Hyura.
Does he even drift, bro?![]()
When did you see those two episodes? US Top Gear WAS crap, it's now most excellent.
It was the first two episodes. I left feeling butthurt so I haven't gone back.
Maybe I'll check out some newer episodes if they got better.
The first season was bad. They were trying too hard to be like the British version. It's very good now, as all they do is the challenges. Rut turns out to be pretty funny, and the awkwardness is gone. It's definitely worth checking out from season 2 on.
Jeremy Clarkson is expected to unveil a new motoring show to rival Top Gear in the next few weeks, with three broadcasters vying to sign up the presenter.
Clarkson is set to be joined by both of his former Top Gear co-presenters, Richard Hammond and James May,
No new show until 2017 damn it:
