I really think when it does some sorta backup it's really unresponsive to even timing out when it does so and then for the next hour it's just dog slow and then its fine again. Used to be 9am CST was a pretty consistent time it'd be like this.

Would like to save server resources by not having it do things like save my posts as drafts. More often than not it's saving things I've already posted and keeps prompting me to restore it.

I've noticed this as well. Even pre System Error times. I would post mah shiz and go back to the tread at a later date and there would be an empty reply box telling me to save or discard the empty post :\
