System Shock stuff. (System Shock Remake, Kickstarter/Demo Up!)

Greed and market pressure.

You did not answer my question. Not everyone is ruled by greed so tell me what, specifically, makes you think that this specific dev team will do that.

This is a PC crowd funded game so where do you think the "market Pressure" is at?

The concept art is beautiful. They nailed the atmosphere of System Shock.

I just get a little concerned when devs show too much early work. Hypes the game up a lot, and they can't always deliver with the final product.

I'm not watching anything that's released since that one video I saw earlier. This is one of only 2 games I want this year. I've never played the original, so I have very little idea what to expect, and want to keep it that way until I'm fighting tooth and nail for my life against God only knows what. :bleh:

There is a System Shock enhanced (with mouse support) that's always on sale somewhere for very little money if you want to see what it's all about.

EDIT: Check your PM, key in there for you. Can't tell if it's been redeemed ever.

You should definitely play the original. The remake will probably have a different "feel" to it, like most remakes do, and won't capture the same feeling playing the real deal for the first time will. And once you finish the original, you will want to play the remaster even more to see what it brings.

Downloading it now. I've heard so much about it..well, what gamer hasn't lol. Looking forward to this.

System Shock 2 has been played and replayed and updated with Mods and texture updates and played yet again. I am very much looking forward to this.

Even the end credits for SS2 was insane  Never did finish SS1 though...... I guess with the insane GPU prices, I have plenty time to do something about that.

SS2 is the greatest achievement in single player video games ever. I love everything about that game, never played a game better. the low poly models are still creepy. The sound
