I sold my 3D Vision monitor and glasses recently to someone that was doing just that.

Honestly Total War was amazing in 3D, it looked like a table top with thousands of troops running around.

Not sure of the most recent GPU with 3D driver support and SLI. 780ti? 980ti?

vorpX works nicely for 3d monitors/projectors/TVs in SBS mode as well as vr. Still gaming on a 4k passive 3d tv here.

IIRC, they dropped it shortly after the I got my 1080.

My gaming TV is a passive 4K too but my monitor is too nice to play pc on the TV. I think it’s technically 3D vision compatible too (original spec G-Sync Ultimate) but I never liked the results when using 3rd party 3Dconversions.

It's funny, I have my main rig inside regular HDMi cable distance to my 3D Plasma and HomeTheatre setup for about 2 years now... and have multiple times over the years and I always forget to try 3D PC gaming on it.

I used my Passive OLED for 3D gaming with controller type games a lot and loved it back when games came with 3D support. I check out 3D mode on console games that look like they would benefit from the fake 3D and use 3d conversion it's rare but occasionally I find one that looks amazing even with the conversion.

The latest vorpX update replaced its internal clarity and sharpening filters with AMD's fidelity fx and fsr. Sure it looks better on my original Oculus, but lower than native res on 4k passive 3d with upscaling looks -way better- IMO. Ralf is the man.

I want to get a higher res vr headset, but I'm in no hurry because I want to upgrade this 1070 first. I'm sure I'll either get my evga notify or luck out on one of these AMD Thursdays, really soon. lol Probably just before either the ex-mining fire sale starts or next gen drops.
