New Monitor

I also think that realistically... IPS is never going to be the tech to show off HDR well on LCD. It's native contrast ratio and black levels are just to poor. VA with MiniLED is going to be the best bet as it's native contrast ratio and black levels are multiples times better. But nothing is going to beat OLED till probably MicroLED which is different to traditional LCD tech.

I thought 55 wouldn't last for me, then I got the CX. The problem is it sits next to my crappy 32" pc monitor. I used to be able to live with gaming on that until I had both fired up side by side.

I haven't gamed on my pc now for a long time :(

You have a 55" TV and 32" Monitor next to each other, wow. My 50" Samsung TV is in the lounge connected to my XseriesX and my PC is in the Study connected to my 34" UW 144hz monitor.

Do you live in an apartment? Not bragging but I live in a 4 bed detached house with a study, lounge, dining room & conservatory. The lounge is big enough to take a massive TV but 50" is enough for me TBH. The PC wil always stay in the study thank you.

All that because they're next to each other? No, they're on an 8' Butcher block desk with an office chair for the PC and a gaming chair for the TV. It's my preferred setup in my office, which is next to my wife's personal craft room, across from our double size master bedroom with full bath, which is above the other full bath next to the other downstairs bedrooms near the dining room and living room over the full gym in the basement next to the full wood working shop and laundry room in the middle of our humble plot of land with the 3 vehicles in the driveway and the large "shed" which holds our snowblower/lawn mowing and landscaping gear where I seem to run into my beautiful Nigerian neighbor at the fence all the time who keeps flirting with me.....I forgot about that - I should be mad because it's rude to flirt with your married neighbor like that  but on the other hand she's a mostly trouble free neighbor.....

wait, what were we talking about?

But you stay in the basement right? Parents live in the upstairs part.

I have the 55 inch next to a 32 inch as well. Since I got the Samsung G7, I haven’t had the urge to play on the CX 55 because:

- K+M vs. gamepad
- 240 Hz
- Samsung has HDR which actually looks decent
- Black levels are OK
- overall convenience

I think if I had a proper desk setup, I would’ve gone with a single 48 inch OLED screen but right now I rarely fire up the CX. Probably when Forza Horizon 5 is out

Stop bragging.

Aw man, I thought it was a good response lol. Besides, my home is small and comfortable, but nothing to brag about at all. Needs much work :p

Kind of like my PC, and my monitor set up. I've seen pics of rather small office/gaming rooms and they look great, but I can never seem to find a happy medium for myself. The set up right now is "where ever there's room for it" until I figure something better out.
