Thinking about hitting the iPhone 13 Pro and an Apple Watch Series 7.
What you gays getting?

I'm getting a new iPad Mini. With Apple's trade-in policy I can get $225 for my old iPad Mini, so it's a decent deal.

Yes I am also thinking about dumping my 12 to get the 13.
Meanwhile my wife dropped her iPhone 11 in the pool. She went to apple and those gays said they ordered a brand new phone for her. Just in time as her 2 year apple care expires mid next month.

The rumored watch 7 design didnt come to fruition, not enough to move on from my 6 so pass on watch.

Rumored squared off design:

TBH, this might be the first year in like a decade that I wont get the new iPhone day 1. There wasnt enough there to get me excited. The only real feature I want from the new release of the iPhone Pro is the 120hz screen. Even the colors are ho hum.. that blue is just meh. I might get it anyway though only for the 120hz screen. I got a couple of days before pre-order starts to think on it.

im getting some older model for cheap.

Dont need the highest tech, but 32gb is not enough anymore. Taking a fair bit more videos of my boy which is taking up space, and would like to add some music to the phone so i can use apple carplay in the car.

i would prefer the SE 2020 though (dont need the latest tech but would like to keep up to date as much as possible) as i dont care about FaceID (i like touchID) and the ever improving camera tech doesnt really have any impact on me.

Plus my 6S battery has and is going down the shitter.

I dont game on the phone anymore so i dont really care about its gaming capabilities, and even when i did i only played not very tech heavy titles.

Thinking of getting my wife a 12 or 13 Pro Max.
She loves photography, and actually loves her 8 Plus and doesn't really want to get a new phone. Issue is her 8 plus is near useless. Half the time doesn't have connection when I have full bars, loses connection while moving (e.g., while driving)... And she kept it for four years, so pretty good, and the 13 will be a huge boost across the board for her.

I want to upgrade the wife's 11 to a 12 or 13 pro max, and the battery life on my ipad pro is just horrendous, so there may be a new m1 12.9 ipad incoming as well.

Getting totally fed up of Apple's manipulative marketing aside, I am seriously considering an iPhone 13 Pro.

Slightly better battery life compared to my iPhone 12 Pro Max, perfect size (iPhone X was nearly the perfect phone for me), Promotion display, and increased camera capabilities wins it for me.

Still a major pity about no Touch ID though... using my Apple watch to unlock my phone is slight inconvenience.

Will upgrade the wife and kids to regular Iphone 13 models if t-mobile does their yearly free upgrade without that stupid max plan they're pushing now. I'll stick with my 11 until it's up for upgrade next year.

Batteries on my i-devices are still going strong so pass. My iMac is falling off regular updates into security updates only so maybe something next month or the month after.

um... just boot camp it to Windows 10. It will run faster than it ever did/will on OSX/MacOS anyway.

Any iPhone Max users. Is that big ass phone comfortable to use?
Thinking about going max this time. What up?

I am an iPhone 12 Pro Max owner. Think it depends on how you use it?

As an everyday phone, it's far too big for me. Typing is often an inconvenience given how wide and heavy (for a phone) it is.

As a semi-tablet, it's the best of both worlds. I've used my iPad far less since I got my Pro Max, but is extra size benefit worth getting over the 6.1" Pro model?

For me at least, it's a definite NO. There are many occasions where I prefer to type on one hand, and it's nearly impossible with my average sized hands. Again, because of it's weight and size, the Pro is just "more convenient" (be it typing or taking photos) to use and far easier to hold than the Pro Max. Pocketabiltity is an extra plus.

I got 13 Pro with 128. Coming 26th. Now no longer can people say I cheaped out. :bleh:
