It's 2018 and still no 4k monitor with 120hz or 144hz support?

When do y'all figure we get monitors like these without the GAMER aesthetic?

It's pretty ****ed up that high end gaming monitors looks like what you'd expect the cheap stuff to look like.

I just want a Dell Ultrasharp with high refresh rate and adaptive sync. No ultrawide, no curved panel, no RGB, and no Batmobile styling. Is that too hard?

4k tv's with hdmi 2.1 VRR and a gamer mode next year they say
monitors most likely about the same time



I want something next like a 4k 50 to 55 inch with VRR, 120hz+and full hdmi 2.1

I hear ya bro. Seriously. I've been keeping my eyes open for the same. I just want the display itself. Save all that other fancy crap for someone who cares.
 
Pulled the trigger on a Alienware aw3418dw.

It's so freaking nice. Went from 3 asus monitors in surround to this thing.

Still in shock at how well everything looks now.

I need a 1440p or 4k monitor without the gamer bulls**t, 144Hz and G-Sync. It doesn't exist, especially not at a reasonable price point. :cry:

If you can live with a TN panel, the Dell S2716DG does what you want for around $350.

PG279Q. 27", 1440P, 165Hz, G-Sync. I paid $550.

There are plenty of options at reasonable price ranges. I'm not sure you guys are actually looking.

I'm not sure you're looking... that monitor is OOS at all major retailers and 3rd party sellers are scalping $1-200 over MSRP. Same situation with other high end G-Sync panels; Fortnite kiddies gobbled up all the inventory on Black Friday.
