I GUESS WE DO ALL HAVE PHONES (Diablo Immortal)

yes, of course. Spending money comes into play when you're max level and try to max out the gear. As a lot of people already pointed out, there is actually NO way to get better gear/gems without cashing, and if i say cashing then i mean HARDCORE cashing. it's completely ridiculous.

There are ways to get legendary gems without paying but its a very slow trickle.

That being said I was never a max out player)and as far as I know no one on rage was either, there is tanns who plays every season) It takes an ungodly amount of time in D3 to get max level gems to so 99% of people never did it anyway so I dont know why people are making a big deal.

The video about 110k bucks is if you go the longest route. There is a market so you can buy a max level gem for 64k platinum which translates to about 75 dollars. I think there are 10 gems so youre probably looking at 750ish dollars to just straight out buy them. not 100k plus.

Because the game has pvp, and people actually want to play it seriously. Fully upgraded gems give like 300% more health and damage than any that f2p players will get. Very unbalanced for pvp.

Dems the brakes. I don't know why anyone thought they were going to make a game for free straight up. Most people will enjoy it for what it is and move on to the next one. Whales will whale.

Im curious to see how d4 turns out. D3 was released back in a time where microtransactions weren't as accepted as they are now. I wouldn't surprised if they start monetizing D4 with them too. I'm sure that team is looking at this and seeing what they can do.

As long as you aren't planning to be the top PVP player or doing some of the dungeons (already confirmed, you'll need high end gear for some of the end game dungeons or you'll just melt) then you should be ok as far as campaign goes.

Pretty much

the campaign is a joke difficulty-wise. Of course you don't need ultra-gear for that. Also don't get me wrong i won't put a dime into this one.

Ewwww....just noticed this game has level scaling. I believe that's a first with Dibbles games. Find a good item and want to re-run an older area/dungeon and curb stomp PVE mobs? Nope, you'll be able to kill them still but you aren't going to feel OP about it.

Im not sure but once you hit max cap and you can turn up the difficulty(hell 1+) and then you can go back and curb stomp.

But you kind of need the mobs to be scaled in this mobile version cause theres a level gatekeep to move on in the story. I dont know if power leveling is a thing yet either.

I've never agreed with level scaling. It's just a lazy way for devs to keep games "challenging" but it defeats the entire purpose of getting stronger if the AI get's stronger with you arbitrarily. It was so egregious in Oblivion that I stopped playing after about a few hours into it once I saw that the same mobs I encountered at the start were getting armor upgrades.
