GAS

Profit is only good for dispersing to shareholders, owners, or if you're smart putting back into your business.

To me though, revenue is king. Walmart rules them all there - over a half a trillion a year in revenue rolling through that business. It's why I don't really get up in arms about oil companies making some money; all the big companies do.

Why revenue?

If your investing and looking for a company to buy into wouldn't a high profit company be more appealing than high revenue?

A company can't buy back stock with revenue right?

Stock buybacks are the debil - they were illegal up until the 1980's for a reason; they're a form of stock manipulation.

Revenue on the books is what keeps the doors open; and you can't have profit without it.

Gas prices so high. Driving around 3 SUVs that drink petrol like a hooker guzzles cum is not the right setup lol. :bleh:

I think I will get the Macan electric replacement. Not a fan of electric cars but that one might just be the right one.

We've been somewhat steady at around $1.35/L for the past little while.
Right now its only going up because our government had temporarily waived the provincial gas tax a few months ago (which was supposed to lower the price to be passed on to consumers...but i have no idea if it actually did that or not cuz gas prices kind of dropped everywhere at the same time it got waived.....) and now the tax is back so we're up to about $1.48/L

Haven't gone out for gas lately, last I checked it was like $3.15 or something down here. The drawing down from the SPR is supposed to end next month but maybe the recent spike is due to the storm heading to Florida? Dunno how many rigs are out in the eastern gulf. Usually if something goes over Louisiana you'll definitely get a spike.
