In our 4th year doing this it is amazing how many members are participating throughout. I hope it has helped you as it helped me keeping my backlogs in check while enjoying my games.

As many have seen, I have completed a lot of games last year and still managed to do my hobbies, take care of family, career and the occasional travel (not counting 2020).

Not every month someone will be finishing a lot, as there are months where a person just can't finish anything. Then you got that streak going in another month.

Also, if you plan to replay the game, it is fine but don't repeat it at a later month as first completion is what counts.

Another thing is the criteria of what is considered completed in unclear games such as team based multiplayer games; I would say set a target for that. E.g. I considered Overwatch completed when I reached level 100. Or when I finished story mode (which was a long movie sequence) in Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator. You decide what you consider is completed as long as it is reasonable to a certain extend and correlate-able to a single player experience.

DLC completed at a separate time from the main game and has enough content (+1 hour) can be counted as a separate completion.

Console completions can be accepted as long as the main focus is still PC overall.

Completed Games:
664-Kena: Bridge of Spirits
665-F.I.S.T. Forged In Shadow Torch
666-Far Cry 6

So thanks for waiting and I was meaning to post yesterday but somehow it slipped. Going through a lot lately but I enjoy doing this so don't feel I am forcing myself because expectations are set. With that said, here is my list:

664-Kena: Bridge of Spirits: Looks great graphically and in motion. As a game, it is ok but nothing special. Stutters like hell on PC though.

665-F.I.S.T. Forged In Shadow Torch: A great metrovania game with amazing graphics. Recommended if you are into metrovanias.

666-Far Cry 6: I like Far Cry games generally, they are the only "job" games I accept from Ubisoft. With that said, it is more focused towards fun than Far Cry 5 but feels like it is poorly designed and wrapped up. Overall, get it only if you are into Far Cry games.

2 for me

Kena and COD CW SP6.

If you want you can count Farcry 6 also but technically I finished it on 2nd of November so it can be a November finish also later. I don’t care.

List Updated!

666. Far Cry

Interesting isn't it? I finished my 666th game in the same month that Doom Eternal released update 6.66! Both are FPS games.

What happens in November, goes into November thread.

Finished 3 games. Death Stranding (awesome!!), CoD Modern Warfare, and CoD Modern Warfare 2.

Now playing Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition and CoD Modern Warfare 3.

Despite being busy AF, I somehow finished three in October:

The Forgotten City
Death's Door
Apex Legends Season 10 Season Pass

Five this month;
Apsulov - decent sci-fi horror.
Quake - played the original more times than I can count. I was pleased it still held up pretty well and the new campaigns were pretty good.
Forza 7 - Not sure why this is so loved. Pretty but really shallow and badly in need of some quality of life and bug fixes on the PC.
'Ittle Dew 2 - Alright but relied far too much on enemies spamming attacks in later levels.
If on a winters night, four travellers - Decent little gothic p+c. Free too.

I made significant progress on Fallen Order and Halo 2, but still have about 10% left on both of them.

So, 0.

4 games for me

- Tandem: Tale of Shadows
- Among the Sleep
- No One Lives Below the Lighthouse
- Alan Wake Remastered

Another 0 this month. Slowly working my way through F.I.S.T. at the moment. So I'll probably have at least one for next month.

How was Forgotten City? Worth it?

I loved that game. It just appeared on Game Pass so if you have that you can give it a try. Very story driven with a bit of mid to late game light combat. I was engaged in it enough to complete all four endings. Conversation heavy but they make it easy to follow and add shortcuts so each loop isn't a tedious rehash of all the things. I highly recommend trying it at the very least.

And yet another Zero ( 0 ) for me again.

Fingers crossed I'll get something, anything, next month.
