In our 5th year doing this it is amazing how many members are participating throughout. I hope it has helped you as it helped me keeping my backlogs in check while enjoying my games.

As many have seen, I have completed a lot of games last year and still managed to do my hobbies, take care of family, career and the occasional travel (not counting 2020).

Not every month someone will be finishing a lot, as there are months where a person just can't finish anything. Then you got that streak going in another month.

Also, if you plan to replay the game, it is fine but don't repeat it at a later month as first completion is what counts.

Another thing is the criteria of what is considered completed in unclear games such as team based multiplayer games; I would say set a target for that. E.g. I considered Overwatch completed when I reached level 100. Or when I finished story mode (which was a long movie sequence) in Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator. You decide what you consider is completed as long as it is reasonable to a certain extend and correlate-able to a single player experience.

DLC completed at a separate time from the main game and has enough content (+1 hour) can be counted as a separate completion.

Console completions can be accepted as long as the main focus is still PC overall.

Completed Games:
689-Battlefield 2042: Season 1 - Zero Hour
690-Capcom Fighting Collection
691-Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels DLC
692-The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux
693-The King of Fighters XV
694-Sonic Colors Ultimate
695-Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade

Had a vacation that month so some good progress:

689-Battlefield 2042: Season 1 - Zero Hour: It was better than vanilla but still has ways to go. Community is mostly dead in my region.

690-Capcom Fighting Collection: Amazing retro collection. Warzard finally officially on Steam. Love the other games too.

691-Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels DLC: One of the most fun I had. Amazing tracks and much improved over FH3 DLC. Loved it.

692-The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux: Walking simulator with a nice story. I liked it. It doesn't hold hands so you need to figure things out yourself.

693-The King of Fighters XV: Best iteration of the game since moving to 3D. Still has ways to go to catch up to other fighting games though.

694-Sonic Colors Ultimate: Despite the praise, I find this overly overrated.

695-Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade: Blew my mind! Loved every moment of it. Platinum-ed the main game and did a normal run with the DLC. DLC was fun but weaker compared to main game.

Last Days of Lazarus, Silt, The Pedestrian, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man Of Medan, Stray, Trek to Yomi

August was productive enough for me. I got through some backlog games and a few newer ones, although they were all fairly short.

Only three for me;
Slice of Sea - A good looking point and click/hidden object.
Ancient Enemy - Solitaire with RPG elements.
Her Majesty's SPIFFING - Short, silly and very British point and click.

I gave up on a couple of other bad games but mostly I've been busier with sims which will keep me going for a while.

2.

The Ascent Cyber Heist DLC - The new area is cool but they throw so many more enemies at you, it makes it seem bigger than it is. Level cap went from 30 to 35. The melee gameplay mechanic is good.

Brutal Legend - A huge open world that is completely ignored after the first few main quests. Indeed, to experience parts of the open world, you would need to leave your spot at the end of a quest and travel for several minutes. Because the next main quest start location was right where the last main quest ended, I finished the game long before I was ready to. An abrupt end for sure, that seemed to be leading up to a much larger confrontation between Jack and his dad and new step mom . I'm still futzing around finding the captured dragons and legends, but I'm mostly done with it.

I finished 2 last month. Both short, but it's been so long since I finished anything I'm going to count them.

INSIDE and Machinika Museum.
