FuryX for $519cdn

Considering the Nitro RX 480 is 400$, yes that is a very nice deal.

I wish yield issues we dealt with to bring the ridiculous CAD prices down...

Seeing Fury non x at 299 us at microcenter. Thats a really good deal. As usual the yanks get the best prices...

It looks like the Fury is finally being discounted. For a long time after the release of the new cards it stayed pretty high. This actually puts the price closer to where it should be.

I'd say for $300 Fury is a pretty damn good buy. In some DX/Vulkan games it's faster or on par with the 1070, and the Fury X is even nipping at the heels of the 1080.

Fury is an odd SKU. Significantly more shaders and memory bandwidth than the 290X/390X, but not much faster in most titles.

Also, I wouldn't touch an AIO liquid cooler with a 10 foot pole. Those damned pumps aren't reliable and will burn up in a year or two.

Got it yesterday, is there a way to mount the rad to my top 240mm fan somehow?

If you're talking about removing the stock fan and using the 240mm fan instead, think that would be a bad idea. The 240mm fan is so large that most of its air wouldn't blow through the radiator. On top of that, its static pressure is probably quite poor, since it's designed to simply move air out of the case, so hardly any of its air would actually penetrate the radiator. There's no real demand for 240mm fans with high static pressure, since no radiators or heatsinks would fit them, and on top of that I'm guessing a 240mm fan with good static pressure would probably sound like a turbine.

nah dont want to remove it, just mount it on the existing 240 top fan. My back exhaust is being used by my h70.

what case higgy?

I have my H100 mounted on the top and the TITAN X hybrid cooler mounted where the rear exhaust would be. Both large fans at the top (200mm or 250mm i forget .. on a coolermaster HAF-X) are still there and running. probably dont do jack **** but it makes me feel good :bleh:

932Haf Case. My H70 is mounted on the only 120mm fan in the whole case lol. Rest are 240s(top, side, and front)

you should be able to mount it on the top I think ... I know top bar has a mount for a 240 (like the h100) .. i cant see why you couldnt mount a 120
