Death Stranding

I didn’t use trike much at all. I stole a truck early on and kept on trucking. Level 3 trucks were the best and that is the most I used in the game.

Got me hands on the Power Skeleton and the ebola gun. Still haven't found schematics for the Trike so I have been on foot this whole time since I borked the last Trike.

I'm now hijacking Mules for their trucks and built four pieces of highway so far. Really enjoying this more now.

That's right. It's been a while. Can't remember when you get the schematic but it is pretty early on. Once you do get vehicles, you'll want roads. So be sure and fill your stolen mule truck with everything you can from any camp you take as all those materials usually are needed for roads.
 
Raiding Mule camps is so satisfying. I just run those mofos over with their own trucks. Too bad them truck batteries slurp down battery juice like no tomorrow. I'm loading up the truck and taken it down to the nearest road building thingy.

Does the game offer vehicle upgrades?

Be careful with your road rage. Actually killing a mule means you need to get them to an incinerator before they necro. The nearest incinerator from where you are is a LONG trip!

What? I've never killed a Mule or Terrorist by running them over. I was just blasting through camps and running them ALL over for a while before I decided it was just quicker to use the Bola Gun and run over and kick them. I've never had anyone necro in the game and I have no idea what happens if they do.

I never had any mules necro in my playthrough either but the game warns you early on that if you do kill anyone you need to dispose of them at the incinerator facility or they can cause a voidout. I think if you do kill someone you get a message to dispose of them and they give you 48 hours of in game time to do this. Also, I am not sure if its 100% going to happen every time you kill someone, or if there's a chance it doesn't and they just turn into a BT or something. Either way, I decided not to chance it so I never killed anyone.
 
Just finished this! What a fantastic game. It may be the best story and easily among the best games I've ever played. The length of the cut scenes were grossly exaggerated until you get to the last few chapters. The last few cut scenes were insanely long. But so worth it.
 
The Trike is such a ****ing POS. It’s making my blood boil. It doesn’t brake, slightest pebble and you come to a complete stop. Constantly getting stuck.

Yeah I know it’s good for the highway but **** me the trucks a **** slow :lol:
 
Trucks are the way. Slow but give you lots of room to carry which means you can build roads faster and put speed icons so you can keep getting boosted on the roads. Also durable during rain and crap and you can actually do combat outside the truck rather than carrying crap on your back and trying to hit people.

And once you get zip lines it’s all great after that.

Try using a controller if you got one. Steering is much more precise.

I can’t view YouTube linked videos on here via my phone any more. I wonder if that’s a IOS 15 problem.

Anyway, might try the wheelie and see how that goes. Thanks.


Also, Deathman tells me there is a location on my map that pin points high Chiral activity which may be due to necro yet I can't seem to find it on the map. Any ideas? I'm on episode 6


EDIT There is a body bag on the map, might just be that. Let me investigate.


EDIT 2 OK not sure it was that, I didn't get any notification or comms about cleaning it up

Did you burn it? A dead body needs to be burned or dropped in tar lake. The Incinerator is on the road to Mountain Knot city. Have you found it?
