Days Gone PC - Released

I'm enjoying this also however the in game UI is a little confusing to use and I'm having trouble trying to work out what story line I'm on and what my current and inactive objectives are. Anyone else?

Maybe I need more coffee?

Nah you're right it's a little wonky. If I remember correctly it's M for the map, then F to toggle to the storylines, then F to toggle back to the map. When you toggle to the storylines you can select different objectives.

I'm getting the hang of it now.

I just finished this. Absolutely a gem of a game and enjoyed every minute of it. Just like Horizon Zero Dawn. I really like how hordes were these super scary things in the beginning and mid game but by the time you're able to take them on, albeit towards the end, you felt like a badass. But even then you had to be careful on taking them on, especially that big ass sawmill horde. Story was great too, great character depth and I felt empathy with everyone. Unlike other games with robotic characters and bland stories.

Really glad Sony brought these ports over. I'm kinda getting the feeling that PC exclusive games are really more generally tech demos while Sony exclusives far exceed in story and gameplay.

Did you play with M/KB on monitor or TV with gamepad?

I played with controller on my living room gaming PC and 65" LG TV at 4k. No performance issues at 4k with my 3080 at everything cranked, game is really optimised. Locked at 60fps with no performance dips (not even with hordes) and I was able to turn on 240hz interpolation for super smooth gameplay (this only works when the game is locked at 60fps or the effect breaks) .

This is a well optimized game and plays perfect with a controller.

Game is good. Good is game.

I like the dialogue in the game and it’s driven by its story which is really really really really….good!
