Did the Cyberpunk devs spend all their game revenue investing in the anime instead of fixing neverending game bugs?
Cyberpunk 2077 also got some DLC related to the anime that in combo... triggered allot of people load up the game to play it.

that plus most people wouldnt see the updates, so i imagine most players didnt know the game was mostly working now. I imagine a lot more hype is hitting around the game being good. the anime just triggered it.

Haters and bugs kept a lot of people from really playing the game. The noise died down and the game is working well now. Everyone should play it. Especially if your video card support RT graphics. It’s still the only game that does use it well.

so did they fix the brain dead NPC's and do they still disappear when you turn around ?

I recently re-installed to give it another go however I still see lots of bugs, lots of cut scenes missing people, lots of placeholder animation poses still with folk floating to your position etc. Sure its better than it was but its not perfect. I'll be soldiering on for a little while until I get bored of the bugs.
I’ve been waiting for multiple reports of a bug free experience, and haven’t seen them yet. I’ve seen lots of “Works fine for me” posts here and elsewhere, but Thr0tt’s experience caps it for me. I’m not even looking any more.
I’m not a hater, and I’m glad some people are actually having a decent experience with it, but I’m not taking the chance that my cash will be wasted.
No. I started a new game and still a few odd stuff. But overall the game plays good and looks a amazing.

Its never going to be "fixed" like people want it to be. Its just a janky-ass game period.

I was really enjoying it on Series X, very good graphics probably the nearest to decent next gen on the PS5 & Series X.
Did over a 100 hours and then had a bug that pissed me off so much I uninstalled.
I was avoiding the main mission and doing side quests and the police department missions then suddenly I could not sell my inventory and it would not let me complete anymore side missions forced me to do the last mission of the game (even warned me about doing this) but nothing I did could stop the forced last mission.
I tried to reload early missions but when I completed them it forced me to go to the final mission again... absolutely ruined my experience as before that I loved it and only encountered a couple of odd bugs in my whole play through until that game-stopping point.
