Cyberpunk 2077 - civil, happy, non insulting thread.

That's kinda the point. Game is nearly 2 years old now and is riddled with stupid bugs that were never fixed.

But hey, at least they added an extra leaf to the potted plant on the second floor balcony of your loft that you could only see on the way down from the elevator!

Damn. Started it up. Scanned the crowd. Focused on some NPCs, got their "deets". Did a 360 and all the NPCs I'd scanned were gone, and replaced by some gang members. Hacked one of them and started a fight. One of them got stuck in the door hinge of the car they were hanging around and proceeded to "flicker" like the girl from The Ring, except without the forward movement. Easy kill. Then an NPC talked and was barely audible, but the neon-blue dialogue box/bubble was 50% off-screen, and no amount of turning around and looking up and down would reveal the other 50%. And then I died almost instantly being shot from some hostile that I didn't see/hear.

I'm pretty forgiving but this was all within 4 minutes. Not sure when/if I'll load it up again.

So they spent two years fixing nothing?

Geez I remember thinking the NPC pop-in in the Witcher 3 was bad and ruining the immersion.

Doesn't sound like I'll ever get to trying this.

Wait?! This now allows older video cards to utilize FSR 2.1 in Cyberpunk?

It converts/redirectly the DLSS commands to FSR 2.1 (used to be FSR 2, but they updated). So it allows any card capable of FSR 2.X to turn on DLSS in Cyberpunk (and other games. If you use this in Marvels Spider-Man for instance it also allows you to use DLAA, which is then run using FSR 2.1 without upscaling. People are calling this FSRAA :D). As once the mod is installed for the game, it's actually using FSR 2.1 instead of DLSS.

Wow, it works. In 4k I now get 27fps with DLSS balanced vs 17fps no DLSS on my 1080ti.

I haven't compared screen images yet but there is nothing real obvious difference watching the benchmark runs.

, yeah it's pretty great tech. The biggest issues I noticed was ghosting on the back edge of vehicles and my Monowire was pretty distorted when attacking. Totally usable though.

Worth noting as well that Cyberpunk is working on an offical FSR 2.1 patch. It will be interesting to see if they manage to do it better than the mod :D

I think it's some of the noisiest I've seen in quite some time. It's interesting, but not gonna rewatch it.

And yeah, the WCAG 2.x accessibility folks are gonna love this.

For me: It ain't Ghost in the Shell class, which I'm suddenly feeling for now  But it's apparently getting good reviews. Do hope it does get more episodes.
