It was in the Humble Monthly two months ago.
Also, it's nice to see that they're adding to the confusion of DLC (strategy and simulation games in particular...)I'm mad that the expansion isnt included in the season pass

Finally gave in and got Rise and Fall yesterday.
It's not on the level of the Civ 5 add-ons G+K or BNW, I'll say that.
I like it, not sure I "twenty-five dollars like it". This is, however, based solely on my play thus far (1100AD) on a Giant Earth Map with TSL, with me as Teddy Roosevelt and every other civ being all the new leaders that were added by this DLC.
Very natural add-on to the game, nothing "game changing", so to speak. I will say that I've gotten the very distinct and palpable feeling of "the game should have had these things all along".
In a few months I may play some "vanilla" civ 6 on my son's system and will probably be wondering how i ever got along without R&F
Until then...my verdict is yeah, get it....when it goes down to 15 bucks or so. (Or you are apeshit crazy for Civ games, in which case you've already gotten it)

Picked up Gathering Storm at GMG for $32
I had said I would wait until it was under <$30 but could not wait. IDK as it's worth the $40 the steam store has it for, but I'm satisfied with it.
Have played into Medieval era on a huge continents map so far. Am liking it. I was going to play as one of the new civs but clicked wrong so I'm playing as Gorgo, which isn't someone I usually play as so I just went with it.
It definitely freshens the game up, one thing I just notices is you can stockpile some (maybe all) strategic resources, so you don't just have 8 horses for 50 turns....looks like there is a 50 cap?
Only disasters I've had are river floods, so much for building on rivers. But it looks like there is a dam building option....I hope this means lake building?

If anyone has this game, and has a 7800x3d or a 9800x3d, can they run the AI benchmarks from this game? If you have the expansion too, I'd be curious.
