Catalyst? New Drivers

do you mean "final" as in "totally done and for public release" version, of "final" as in "final beta"?
 
Will there be a built-in refresh rate fix for the new Catalyst drivers? Of all the things to fix, I hope they include this (even though it's XP's problem).

I have not heard a YES or NO in terms of when they come out, but with the NDA being lifted today I think they would get them out rather quick.

For Built by ATI Cards yes they will be out, for powered by ATI cards you will prolly have to modify the inf.
 
and what time can we expect the new drivers.....well since there is a time difference ....IN how many hours will it be there??

will rage3d have it?? I have a club3d so i can't use the
drivers from ati.com (at least not the "built by ati" drivers).

No clue on an EXACT time, my guess is within the next 12 - 48 hours, who knows heh.

Will Rage3D have what? Catalyst? we can't host em here, but we will provide linkage heh

See I can't use the drivers that are on ati.com .

Let me ask the question differently :) . Will there be any powered by ati drivers??

Hope they are out today !! should have my new hard drive so i can do a fresh install :D

I will be watching Rage3D all day :evil:

it would be a stupid move from ATi if they chose to neglect the "powered by ATi" users.

with a simple inf hack you can make the ati.com drivers work on your card, I beileve we had a thread on this a few days ago, try searching for it =)
 
I have a question maybe James could answer..I only use my 1 crt monitor but isn't the new hydrovision have some features like window
and menu transparency,also shadow?Does this work on XP and not ME?
It's unclear to me.I tried using the beta hydrovision and didn't see
anything about it.I use Windowblinds and they also have another prog
as part of the Object Desktop that gives some of these same features,
I think it's WindowFX but I can't remember right now.I also remember
Stardock saying some of these features will work on XP but not ME.Is
this the case here too?
