Haven't checked the new features yet, but it feels cleaner. I just installed it in my work computer that was having a lot of performance issues lately (sound and video choppiness) and now it works fine.

Discuss!
 
I installed on mine today, and neither Forza Horizon 3 nor Forza Motorsports 7 would open, they just crash to desktop.

Turned out because they were on my secondary 3TB HDD, and the event viewer indicated it tried looking for them on my main SSD drive. Reinstalled both games on the secondary HDD and all is good.

So far (other than that strange issue), pretty flawless upgrade.
 
Really amazed with the faster response and boot time (even after a restart I enter the password, click ok and immediately see my desktop)!

Games still play great as well...
 
Updated both desktops at home a couple days ago. My family profiles finally work properly and load the avatars :bleh:

Anyone notice an improvement in performance with games after the update? I have noticed my average frame-rate for The Witcher 3 and the Surge demo go up since installing it.

This happened again. Was fine this morning. Tried playing FH3 or FM7 and they did the same crashing to the desktop (FM6 was fine....only difference is that was on my SSD) Uninstalled FH3 and during the reinstall I try FM7 and it worked again. Weird, I really hope this gets fixed or I will have to revert back to 1703 (if I wait too long I will have to clean install 1703)
 
Anyone else have weirdness with windows not behaving.

Like I double click a zip file it opens in 7zip and I use the mouse to highlight the folders and files in the zip and instead it shoots the mouse cursor down to the bottom right of my monitor outside of the 7zip window.

Or I was just trying to poke Steam and every time I tried to click on one of my games it would instead minimize the window.

EDIT:
Of course after changing nothing and coming here to ask around it decides it wants to work properly and not be a problem anymore...:|

Let's see how long this lasts...

The update also fixed an issue I had with file associations, however, I still have issues with the notificacion bar and Outlook 2016 (clicking in the notification removes it but doesn't load Outlook).

Have not tried games other than Diablo (GR87 on wednesday :drool:). Will try Fifa 18, Doom and Star Wars Battlefront, I mainly game in 4K and any extra FPS will always be welcome.
 
Yes the Fall Update is available through the creation tool as always. :)

Does anyone know how to fix Win10 app shortcuts (apps obtained from the Windows Store)? When I had my issues playing FH3 or FM7 I could not launch from anywhere (desktop, start screen, store, xbox app, etc) cause it kept trying to find them on my C drive whereas I have them on my D drive.

Happened again. :(

This is ridiculous, it HAS to be fixed!!! It was fine last night...and this morning I once again can't play my Forza games on my D drive.
 
I had to reload my sound card drivers after the update the middle channel was missing. It was an easy fix.

I have a rogue usb device in device manager now I am pretty sure its my Corsair water cooler. The fans were surging on the rad after the update I updated Corsair link and set them to quiet mode which resolved it.

One last issue, I removed the USB cable to my UPS Windows reported that my battery was low on each reboot then after 10 seconds or so it went to 100% full power. Its a desktop so that is a bit weird.

All games run fine and performance it at least as good as it was before the update.
