Anyone who upgrades when Microsoft releases a new OS should know they are beta testing it for everyone else that's waiting. I learned long ago to NEVER upgrade my Windows until at LEAST the first major patch is out, though the second is usually safer.
I'm excited about Windows 10 overall and look forward to upping from 7 x64 ultimate.
From what I've read (don't know if true), one way Microsoft is going to make money - and the money back from the free upgrade - is by using and selling your data, just like Google does.
