Game is pretty good, graphics at times can be really really good, or just good. Seems to depend on the track and the time of day.

Lack of music in the racing takes a bit of getting used to, and I can see why they say it has no "soul".

It's a decent game though, and worth the discounted price imo.

Would be a lot better if the online part was working. :bleh:
 
How much is it on discounted price? I can't see because the playstation store is doing maintenence right now. :rolleyes:

$49 so essentially $10 off. I've enjoyed it so far, but it definitely needs the online aspect right now. How they could screw this up so badly is insane. Sony better give those of us that preordered a free game or something good for giving us half a game at full price.
 
DriveClub's servers currently cannot cope with the number of users attempting to connect their copy online. The problem started before the game even launched on disc in Europe, and has caused the free DriveClub: PlayStation Plus edition to be delayed until further notice.

Evolution has been forced to implement a one in one out policy - so you won't be able to log in unless another player disconnects

I would love a refund. I have seen what I wanted to see of this shite game. Moving onwards the racing becomes even more tedious. Not challenging kind of fun, just that AI has jet packs and you don't so basically you see cars running past you that are exactly the same as your cars. I thought rubber banding was bad. This is a step forward in the wrong direction. Cars actually breeze past you rather than just catching up. Especially in last lap. WHAT THE ****!

hmm just saw i was double charged for this game, and sony support says they only have one charge in their system.

have you tried the motion controls?
they aint that bad actually
 
I tried replaying this game. Did the Amateur tourney but honestly, everytime I fire it up, I just feel sad since the game actually had potential. The tracks are actually very good.

Even the minor updates they have done, cannot redeem it. It will be a painful process to finish it but I will do it just because I like the cars and tracks and nothing about the gameplay.

Rain looks better in cockpit mode, as you can see the water collecting, and even going up the windshield when you're doing some speed.
