Play Forza 5 then Horizon and then this. Come back and tell me if cars are on ice or not.I don't get the cars on ice part. I brake going into turns and the game handles fine. I think once higher tier cars unlock, better handling will make the game feel less slippery. As far as your complaints about free roam, I can see why they didn't go that route. My biggest gripe with the game so far has been that the servers are still down. If they aren't up today, I will be asking for a refund.

Proves my point very well. You make 90 and even 180 degree turns and the car just glides through them with minimal braking. Sense of speed in your P1 feels exactly same as my Mini Cooper since camera shakes so much it is hard to discern the difference.Another DriveClub gameplay, it's a race at The Kyle track of Scotland at evening and night (time x60) with the McLaren P1 (car with KERS and DRS).

Now if only the online worked.
Graphics are PS3 level quality for the most part.
Care to explain what you mean? Have you seen the vegetation and snow effects around the tracks. The number of invisible walls, the smoke from the tyres? Many effects are PS3 quality. What is good is the lighting. However, the shadows suck. Especially when you see highly pixelated shadows on your windscreen as you pass through areas with trees. The shadows don't even make sense since the tree structure is completely different from the shadow being cast. The leaves that flow when you zip past are frickin' retarded. This effect was much better in the Need for Speed game (don't remember which one). Also, in terms of track quality, NFS The Run or NFS HP (2010) was better in the looks/graphics department.Hyperbole much?
