Dark Souls 3 - Official Discussion

Those kinds of decisions are usually not up to the devs but up to the suits and 'higher ups'. I won't let platform exclusivity, even if disappointed by it, affect my thoughts on From Software's games. They are and remain an excellent game dev studio as of now, pioneering the 'difficult-yet-fair' style of gameplay that PC gamers tend to like. Hope that any exclusivity deals will be 6 month deals, meaning PC Gamers might get a better version of the game in the future.
It won't affect how I think of their games, but if I can't play their new stuff, I might as well try to forget them in the short term =( -- I wasn't really planning on buying a current gen console any time soon. It would be a real shame if they couldn't get a PC release of this out... I read DS2 sold almost 1m units on PC. That has to be a decent chunk of their total sales.

Nobody claims they did... however, they did revive it.
Exactly, he knows what we mean. Since the 360 and ps3 got released, pc devs got bought up by the dozen and were forced to target the lowest denominator demographic, resulting in "press A for awesome" games, often sacrificing complexity or depth that could easily improve the quality of the product.

Nothing is wrong with simpler games, not every game has to be complex - some of the best games of all time are simple in design - but the way the entire gaming industry went to shiat mountain and back over the past decade makes devs like From Software very welcome amongst old school gamers.

I guess the early 2016 release date is semi-official now.

If it doesn't get a PC release within 3 months of the console version, I'll buy everybody in this thread HL3 when it releases.

Quoted so that you don't go back on your word, just in case.

Also, sorry to be THAT guy but graphics look meh.

Probably because the original hand wasn't at max positive level, wise ass.:p

You are correct sir. After some messing around with the image in csi software it does indeed look like the image has been tampered with; note the areas circled in red. Too bad that nothing else was revealed, I was sure the mystery went deeper than that.

If only to have that much free time on my hands. You do realize these are the best years of your life you are wasting?

 I'm at school and photoshop was already open plus it was break time anyway.

And btw, photoshopping KAC is a big part of the best of years.
