This thing originates from the same people who was behind the false silent hills for xbawks one rumor.

So I will not start any hype engine right now.

But in case it's actually true, no pc, no buy.

I've had enough of playing sub 30 fps console games by FROM software.

Actually, those shots would be incredibly hard to make up, they are most likely real.

The details of platforms and such, those remain to be seen.

*Unless the console version is running at a steady 30fps with short loading times.
 
I can't see why there would not be a PC version given how well 1 and 2 sold, so to me the rumor seems wrong.

Same here. I don't even think I'm ever buying a PS4 at this point.

Also, these nitwits don't even know wtf they are talking about. It wasn't a bird that picks you up and takes you to Anor Londo.

Holy crap those guys have an annoying presentation style. I hope this is legit but I'm not going to let myself get too excited yet. Nixing a PC release would make Fromsoft dead to me.

Those kinds of decisions are usually not up to the devs but up to the suits and 'higher ups'. I won't let platform exclusivity, even if disappointed by it, affect my thoughts on From Software's games. They are and remain an excellent game dev studio as of now, pioneering the 'difficult-yet-fair' style of gameplay that PC gamers tend to like. Hope that any exclusivity deals will be 6 month deals, meaning PC Gamers might get a better version of the game in the future.
 
I kinda hope that there would be a longish delay before DaS3 is released. I don't need yearly editions of FROM games.
 
i think they run numbers and see the countless hours people pour into it and want to give them something fresh, new mechanics, new settings. instead of $30 DLC, upgrade the engine and march forward with a new game.

Bethesda has no need for this, but for a company that relies on 1 or 2 games to bring them money, it's a proper thing to do. Especially when they have such a good track record.

I get the feeling they are in a "strike while the iron is hot" state of mind right now. They are riding a big high with the success of Bloodborne. I'm sure they want to capitalize on that while the mainstream gaming crowd has them fresh in the mind. Sadly, that means churning out another game ASAP.

On the "PC version is negotiable" thing, I have a hunch its all B.S. planted info for them to internally figure out who leaked this. The Dark Souls IP is free to release on any and all platforms. Dark Souls 1 & 2 were successful on PC. They will release Dark Souls 3 on PC.
