Baldurs gate III

Game receiving rave reviews. Worth boning?
I'm in Act 2 and it's a 10/10 game so far, note that the crpg combat style (with the pausing/turns/dicerolls) isn't for everyone. There are lots of mods already available which can help with any tweaks you might want, I use a couple of them which make the game a lot more enjoyable to me.

I've heard Act 3 has a few bugs so I'm taking my time as they have a massive patch planned sometime in the future.

I wish it was active time with pause like NWN2. Feels much slower.

I've been enjoying it. Coming up on the end of act 1 I believe. 27 hours in but still trying to finish a few things up before leaving the act.

I'm struggling. It's very... dumb in spots.
It's a bit like PoE (path of exile) in that you can easily break most of the game into not being a challenge if you understand how some of the synergies between builds and items work - but this something 90% of the playerbase will not be able to do without following a guide.

You can use a party size limit mod (like this one) for a party of 5 instead of 4 which will be helpful without feeling like a pure cheat. If you want there's tons of mods which can help, like giving more feats per level, more spell slots, increased accuracy so you miss less, etc.

This is a good ass game. Feels like a modern day Dragon Age: Origins. Been waiting patiently for a game that would come close to the story and gameplay of Dragon Age 1 and this not only meets but exceeds.

It's fabulous. Barely started and enjoying every minute. They really nailed the feel of D&D and also the older BG series, while adding technical improvements. Love the dice rolling mechanism

omg... i just accused a djinn of rigging a carnival game and he turned me into a wheel of stinky cheese with a default action of stinking cloud.

This the new one? Haven't installed it yet, was taking a short break with cyberpunk to check out the new systems and graphics. ( Looks amazing)

Back to BG3... just made Astarion a terrifying Ascended Vampire. Despite both Gale and Shadowheart shouting no!, and I helped, they both still love me exceptionally.

Am hoping some time i can get back into bg3, my housemate ruined the game for me. Im like literally the only person in the world not enjoying the game :/
