Winamp 3 Plugin

when you open the plugin's configure window there will be 4 checkboxes on the left and on the right will be a pull down tab with the word "Version:" over it.
you have to select winamp 3 there.

press ok and that's it.

make sure at the bottom of the config window it say the plugin version is 2.0 and there's a little winamp icon next to it.
 
My fault. Sorry about that. Somehow I managed to download the 2.0Beta version zip file, but I had a unzipped copy of 1.1 in my temp dir. ???

ok, i have been trying to get the A-F button functionality back in there, but most of those functions have no keyboard shortcut, or they don't exist anymore.

so i've come up with a few possible courses of action...

1) keep trying to get as many of the functions to work the way that i'm doing it now (faking keyboard shorcuts)
the old external API that winamp used is gone... i'd be nice if they put it back in but i don't see it happening

2) make sure all the basic functionality works fine and totally forget about the A-F buttons for now (i'll leave them in for winamp2 but they'll do nothing in winamp3)



i'd like to get everything working but at this time, it doesn't seem possible.

let me know what you guys think, are there functions on the A-F buttons that you absolutely can't live without? or is it enough to decalre victory with basic functionality.
 
All I personally care about is being able to skip, stop, pause, play, change volume, and maybe a few other mundane functions. I think that some functions of winamp aren't meant for the RW, like changing preferences or stuff like that. These are just my feelings tho. Good work NiDan
 
i think the same, it does what's needed

i guess nullsoft guys will release new build of wa3 or special plugin to provide api to control wa3 from 3rd party apps
