Thoughts about this?

Yeah not adding Torque Vectoring. Will keep adaptive for myself and try the sport wheel first but might order normal as sport is quite small. 20 inch wheels as well as my wife is going to destroy the 21s anyways like she did on the Ford.

Thursday is decision day. Either we like Macan and order it. Otherwise wait 3-5 months for facelift on Cayenne. Will be test driving both to see what’s up.

I find smaller steering wheels more comfortable, but that's just me.

lets throw a bit of a monkey wrench in your plans.

this got announced recently, add it to your shopping list:

That looks really nice KAC. Congratulations. Waiting that long would stress me out though :p

Long wait is tiresome but am happy with the choice. Let’s hope it’s all good for me and my family. Took me 7 years to gain confidence to spend money again on an expensive vehicle lol.

Nice. They've kept the cayenne look a long time. Looks a lot like my cousins, its also white, but ~8 years old now.

Another one of thoughts about this moments.

As you all know I have a Ford Edge Sport in black. That car is nice and all but does have some slight sounds when going over bumps. It is 2016 model first purchased and registered in 2018 and only done 32K KMs. Has 1 year warranty on it as well.

I came across this bad boy.

Was wondering if I should sell my car and grab this one. I am expecting about a 20K AED difference but the car is now 10 years old but only done 76K KMs. Looks dope af though.

Would you do it?

That is also a very nice car. Not as nice as the one you ordered. If you think you would be satisfied with a car that old it would be great. Or as a second car it would be fine. But, as your only ride? I believe you would be unhappy in the long run. Wishing you had gotten something newer. But, what do I know.

Would you do it?

No, it is a nearly 10 year old vehicle with 76k kilometers on it. I wouldn't want to deal with potential repairs nor would I be satisfied with old technology.

If you don't want to go the EV route and are interested in an sporty and semi-luxurious SUV, why not get a Genesis GV70/GV80 or something?

Yeah makes sense. I am worried about suspension of the car. If that goes it will be a very heavy repair/new installation. 10 years in Dubai weather will wear out any suspension irrespective of the mileage.

Anyways, think 1 Porsche is enough for now.

Sorry, I missed the post on the first page saying you ordered the Porsche. Ignore the GV70/GV80 post.

Yes. Long wait now. Really hoping I get the updated model with all digital instrument cluster and squarer front lights. Even if I don’t, I don’t really care as I plan to keep the car for sometime.

The S is good. My ex had a 2018. Took it on many trips.

The Turbo would be the one I'd get. At that level I'd probably prefer an RS Q8.
