This device cannot start (code 10)

Totally Confused!

That's unbelievable.
- I rolled back Microsoft's KB950749 update.
- Uninstalled all ATI drivers/software.
- Uninstalled what's left manually.
- Cleaned in safe mode with "Driver Cleaner Pro" (a great tool and it's free)
- Then installed my old working ATI drivers/software like it used to be.

The Good News: no more code#10 anywhere!
The Bad News: the capture works only once (there's sound and picture) and then looses the signal which leaves the capture screen either black or with a green stripe. The picture never comes back again.
