well, Satellite Reign is very similar and, let's be honest, many (isometric arpgs) games are more or less "Diablo" in one way or another.

I really don't care as long as i have fun with it

I wishlisted Cloudpunk ever since it came out and have always been tempted, but then I watch a couple gameplay videos every now and then, see how the characters are modelled and I cringe to the point where my scrotum shrinks so much even the wrinkles on my forehead disappear.

yeah this. they let quite a few people have a copy quite early. must have been pretty confident. I shouldnt have said the word review though. i meant they just got a lot of access to the game. Probs should have said imppressions.
 
Probably give it a try, since it's on game pass. Seems to have a great visual design.

Kotaku: The Ascent makes good on cyberpunk 2077's promises.

pcgamer: The Ascent's cyberpunk metropolis is way cooler than Night City.

I believe it's still 10% off on steam? I also believe I heard it will support dlss and ray-tracing via the dx12 api? But I also heard that dx12 has issues and everyone is hoping it will be sorted out with a day-one patch?

I think this one is on my steam wish list. Looks good for what it is and will definitely play it.
