Is there anyway to restore the mouse cursor after a "display driver stopped responding and recovered..." incident...without having to restart the PC?
Sometimes it recovers if the incident only happens once. But, if I get this "incident" one right after the other, the cursor icon freezes on the screen but the mouse isn't focused on it. So, I can move the mouse all over the place and can detect it's location...but the cursor is just stuck in one place until I reboot.
sometimes a three finger salute (ctl-alt-del) can fix that.
you could try bringing up taskmanager and killing explorer.exe, then restarting it.
AMD is still telling Carrizo APU users to stick with the old 15.12 drivers
@WaltC
Odd since they installed OK for me on Win10 X64.
