Dirty ****ers.
It always goes back to that bad short-term gain policy that some companies seem to have.
They'd always rather make small profits now, even if it means losing the loyalty of long time customers. Just makes no sense whatsoever.
What morons!
****ing dirty slimey ****ers.
An example of that - I had been buying fish food from the same company for over a decade now. With the supply chain crunch my usual size of 1lbs wasn't available, but they did have 5lbs for sale. So I bought it, wondering if I would really get a big 5lbs bag or five 1lbs bags.
When I got the delivery notification it said it was in my mail box, which is a small community box that there was no way they could fit 5lbs of anything in there - I immediately wondered. When I got to the mailbox sure enough, they only sent me 1lbs.
So I contacted them and they basically called me a liar because 'their systems have weight checkers and that can't happen', even though it did. Then they asked me to send them a picture of what I received - so I did - a pic of 1lbs of food. Then they said to send them a pic of the rest, which I never got. Okay, I'm supposed to send you a pic of product I didn't receive? Huh?
I told them I've been buying from them for over a decade and I have no interest in trying to 'scam' them out of 4lbs of fish food - in fact they were scamming me by not sending me what I purchased. It was a total joke that they were more worried about losing $80 of product rather than a lifetime of customer loyalty where I've probably spent thousands and would continue to do so in the future.
Makes no sense at all.
Good to hear from you curio!
That sounds like a "may I please talk to your supervisor" situation. You would think sometimes you just get an idiot customer service rep, in which escalating your case would fix the problem. But still, the fact these occurrences even happen is mind boggling.
there is no such thing as "customer service" anymore. Something i've learned through situations like curio described. Also it doesn't matters if you're a lifelong customer or not, heck, most times you're better off as a new customer.
