Jima13... Holy !@#$%^!!!!!!!!

Looks like this 970a I'm using has 2 pcie 2.0 x16 (x8/x8) slots...getting the same ppd with the 980's as I was in the intel system...although that 4770k isn't exactly new either but does support 3.0
 
hehe, the stats have been all over the place lately. Sounds though like a new server will be up tomorrow, so hopefully our stats will start to stabilize :lol:
 
I had it online for about 4hrs this AM on powersaving mode. So about 200W. Until winter hits, it'll run only at night when I am not gaming or using the PC otherwise. lol
 
Well, In Turbo Mode, this thing was holding an average of 1,790Mhz since 6AM this morning. lol.

Turbo Mode pulls me to about 225-235W from the "GPU Only" power draw according to GPU-Z.

Just swung by the EOC stats, that card is pulling in some mad points!

Yep. Estimated PPD is around 800-900K.


Also, at full load... my 850W PSU- Fan is off. With the 780Ti in the same situation.... Fan was always on. So I am using less power than the 780Ti did at load. So idk if they improved the hardware over the review samples or what..

It makes sense. The GTX 10 series was a huge step in power/performance than the 9 series, which itself was a good leap beyond the 7 series. I expect as the drivers mature that you may be able to squeeze a bit more PPD from that card under the same power consumption. If so, then it'll be in 1080 territory, which will make the Vega 64 quite tempting.

On a sort of related note, EOC stats are updated with a new scaling for point colors! Seeing Team Rage3D so colorful brings back nostalgia! Who is up for a good ol race to the red? :D :lol:

My points will be "unreliable" though. I do use this PC on a daily basis. The past few days though I haven't been doing much gaming though so it sits and folds. BUT it is kept cool and voltage limited so I am not beating the crap out of it. I hope this card lasts 2-3 years minimum.
