Humble Monthly is becoming Humble Choice

New Bundle out. This one may be even worse than the last one.

Forager - A resource strategy game based on the Super Mario 3 graphics engine.

Golf With Your Friends - Like Wipeout, but golf instead. I think there's a new show that does this. Some of the screen caps of courses remind me of the worst Trackmania maps I've seen.

Strange Brigade - Co-op zombie killing game set in Egypt. Could be fun if I had friends.

Lethal League Blaze - Pong but with 2D fighting influences.

Generation Zero - Mech exploration/action game based in rural Sweden. Had this on my wishlist for a long time. Got horrible reviews when it was released, and they've since improved it. Now it's up to mixed. Guess I can take it off my wishlist now.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair - Game for kids. Will add it to their account.

Occupation - Breaking and entering simulator where you play as a journalist who has the ability to Change the World through finding evidence and interviewing people. Could be interesting.

Catherine - Story based puzzle/platformer where they somehow link the gameplay to your decision on which Catherine to stay with.

Vampire The Masquerade - Coteries of New York - A postcard reading game where you can sometimes influence what the next post cards picture and say through dialogue choices.

The Shapeshifting Detective - I've liked the newer FMV games though admit none of them are terrific. As the 3DO was dying out they released Psychic Detective which had a great, complex tree of decisions. This game looks to be totally unrelated but if I play it I'll pretend it's a sequel.

Evoland - Another throwback game, this time to RPGs from yesteryear., that I apparently have not played because I never had a Nintendo.

Fun With Ragdolls - KAC, this isn't what you're thinking. It's with regards to the physics engine, akin to Stair Dismount but with more things to dismount from and to land on.

Just complete lame bulls**t being added.

No offence to the developers of these games but the deal
presented is far from what I expected for what I paid for.

Telling me I am getting $Hundreds of Dollars of games per month when they have run their time on the market is pathetic.

Nobody wants to pay for a multiplayer game when nobody is playing it.
Nobody wants to pay for something offered on another channel for free.
What's that? A game is done selling at a low price. Include it in the Horrible Choice Monthly. When my subscription is done I am done.

My sentiments exactly. I'll just keep pausing until they spit out something good. Just so I can stay on classic on the off chance they do.

OCTOBER is available!

Tropico 6 - El Prez Edition: I'd be excited about it if I didn't get burned out on the series halfway through Tropico 4.

FAE Tactics - Awful looking isometric 2D battle based RPG

Sunless Bundle - Sunless Sea and Sunless Skies: Game where you're a rocket or a submarine or something. I've seen them a few times on Steam but nothing about the description(s) hooked me. Guessing a glorified SPAZ with strategy/armada elements.

Iron Danger: Nice looking top-down action RPG. Has turn based elements due to the ability to rewind time and try different attacks.

Autonaughts: Awful looking world-building simulator for kids.

Shadows - Awakening: Another isometric action RPG. This one looks simpler and easier to play. SP only which is a plus.

Fantasy Blacksmith: Blacksmithing simulator where you can create sexual playthings.

The Suicide of Rachel Foster: Sleuthing adventure game. Don't care.

Goat of Duty: MP FPS where you play as a goat. If Overwatch didn't hook me, why would this? No thanks.

The Uncertain - Last Quiet Day: Adventure puzzle game where you play as a curious robot in a world extinct of humans.

Basement: Text/icon based strategy game that looks awful.

Lightmatter: First person puzzle game where you use light to expose clues and/or otherwise solve puzzles. Doesn't look bad but it's no Portal or Talos Principle.

I swear more often then not that Epic gives better games for free than what Humble has for a monthly subscription. :bleh:

I guess a rotten choice is still a choice. I wonder if the "curators" also work for Amazon, landing those superb Games With Prime.

:bleh:

They did considerably better this month.

Darksiders III - I have the first two, didn't get this one.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 - My third Yakuza game, all of which I have gotten from Humble Monthly and have yet to play

Imperator: Rome Deluxe Edition - Grand strategy war game. Not my cup of tea.

Crying Suns - Great title for a space game, I've looked at it several times before. 2D strategy Rogue-lite with backgrounds befit for the best of desktop wallpapers.

Darksburg - Top down twin stick shooter about killing zombies. Looks bad, but might be fun in short intervals.

Little Misfortune - Female Jimmy from South Park goes on a point and click adventure that might be funny.

Smile for Me - A colorful first person psychological horror. Watched a bit of the trailer, looks absolutely awful.

Darkwood - At some point this one got on my ignore list. Top down survival horror survival game. I'm getting a sense that many of these titles were holding out until after the Halloween sale to be put on Humble Monthly.

Tsioque - Another point and click adventure.

Rover Mechanic Simulator - Simulates you working on the Mars Rover. Doesn't get more niche than that.

Youropa - Colorful third person puzzle platformer with overuse of depth of field effects.

Townsmen: A Kingdom Rebuilt - A two dimensional top down simulation strategy game where you build a town and maintain it. Casual.

- I have all the Darksiders games just on EA play alone plus bought the first 2 on steam awhile ago.

- Yakuza Kiwami I have on Steam and they all seem to be on Xbox Game Pass

- The rest uhhh....Darkwood I have on Steam

IGN now means 'I Got Nothing'.

More meh games for December....

For the first time, there's not a single one I'm interested in. The Beast Inside is the only one using a 3 dimensional textured graphics engine, but if I'm going to play a game like that I'll play one of my three copies of Amnesia first.

I'd have gone for Frog Detective 2 and Still there but it's a prett poor choice for 14 titles.

I do also have a few keys left over from last month; Yakuza Kiwami 2, Darksburg and Rover Mechanic Simulator.

PM me if you'd like any of them.
