So to get the best deal you need to be a subscriber before they switch to the Humble Choice

I think I would still rather pay the $15/$20 a month and only pay for a month when there is something that I want and feel the $15/$20 price is worth it. I have only paid for like 4 months of Humble Monthly since it started, so I doubt it would be worth it to subscribe on a monthly basis for me.

I'm signed up for the annual subscription. Classic is clearly the best deal. Overall I think these cheap bundles are a cancer to the industry. nomnomnom that's some good cancer nomnomnom

I signed up for the current sub, mostly to get Crash and Spyro. The Trove 'perk' says you can play them as long as you're subscribed. Does that mean there's some kind of client to install?

No. I've got a bunch of trove games and they're all stand alone installers. At least, they were when I downloaded them. It's always possible they plan to change that.

The Trove appears to be standalone files (zipped). As long as you are a subscriber you can always download them.

If you have already downloaded them and unsubscribe you can still play what you downloaded.

Is there a date on this? I'm thinking about the annual classic plan as it seems a fair gamble but I'm not signed up at the moment. What's my window for getting in there? The Humble page itself doesn't seem to have any info on the change.

I haven't seen the info there either. I think lettuce is cabbaging us.

Currently you can only get the months games that are available at the time you sign up.
I just signed up a couple weeks ago and I get November monthly games (COD,Crash, Spyro and some undisclosed until Nov 1st).

You can't get games that were available before you signed up (except the Trove). However, the game keys you get upon joining at the time you get to redeem and if you unsubscribe after that you can still keep the games. (like getting a steam key and redeeming it)

I got an email for 1 free month of Humble Choice. Hmmm..... feels like there must be some kind of catch, but says I can cancel before the auto-renew.

I don't have any montly subs, but $21/month seems a bit high.

Oh wow... I'm on the $120/yr plan for 9 games a month. I guess they've finally figured out that wasn't sustainable.

I'm on the one with 10 a month. Paid for a year in advance.I paused it so far 2 months in a row and I should have done it for a few of the other months due to crap choices.

I got some early humble bundles when the deals were aaaaamazing. But I look at the bundles nowadays and 8/10 of the games I'd never want to play so I'm just accumulating games for no reason. This choose your own thing looks like it would be better for me. I'll wait and see.

You only get to choose from a total of 12 games. Most of which are crap. :bleh:
