GTA VI

Has GTA Online run dry already? Because that's when we'll see a sixth installment.

It's pretty much known there hasn't been any DLC's for GTAV simply because of GTA Online already making them so much dough.

No. The lobbies are still full and active. I think Rockstars lastest DLC was mid December? Is that the last one? If so, we should be transitioning into RDR2 for PC next.

I meant for single player. Rockstar makes way too much money with Online than to care about single player games anymore, unless its forced on them.

Rockstar delivered one of the best SP experiences last year. What are you saying lol?

GTA VI: Pyongyang

Play as Kim Jong-un to become the ruler of North Korea. Mid story, second part of the map opens up and you get to invade South Korea.

You should start in the game industry making cool games. I find the gaming idea appealing, play as Kim Jong-Un as a pup being a posh gangster in North Korea and a boarding school in Switzerland, then gradually upgrade the character to becoming the ruler of north Korea. The final battle comes with a bang when Kim Jong-Un invades Seoul.

There we got some serious action and a good plot with a large variety of game play.

Ehh...not every developer is Valve. There's no reason they can't maintain GTA Online and still work on other games in addition. The extra resources can hire more people to do that.

I would have liked to have seen at least one single player story DLC for GTAV. GTAIV had two, and very good ones at that which didn't take alot of development time. They just realized that as far as GTAV, GTAOnline was bringing in more than enough money for them so they could leave that franchise alone for other projects.

I won't disagree with you that it would have been nice to see an SP DLC. That being said, I guess my feeling about GTA V vs IV was that V was already so long that it almost didn't need any DLCs.

The ones for IV were great though. I actually think I liked them more than the main game. I found the protagonists more interesting than Nico, who I felt was kind of one dimensional and boring.

I remember mouse control was janky for a while after it first came out. Depending on which setting you used you either got lots of input lag or sensitivity changing with FPS, but that got sorted eventually.

in almost every other regard I think it's a good example of a console port done well.

I was gonna say, I heard good things. GTA 4 always ran awful for me....

Also, the pc port of V only took 5 months longer than the ps4 and xb1. I guess people would have rather we got a port of the 360 version?

Rumors have begun now since apparently Sony paid big to time the release of GTA 6 for the PS5 release next year.

Also rumors say there are 3 cities involved...Vice City, Liberty City and Los Santos and that Rockstar has something to show case during E3 (could be anything)

I would have said that it would be highly possible for this scenario to occur but I'm not sure it will because I'm expecting RDR 2 to come out on PC first and we still have no word on it.

What are the chances Rockstar could release RDR 2 PC, early next year along side GTA 6 on console? Expectations too high on that being the case?

Perhaps the PC department could work on RDR 2 whilst console department works on GTA 6?

RDR2 is coming to pc and will be epic store exclusive :bleh:
Published by Ubisoft and only downloadable via the bethesda launcher as a second party game. It also requires battle net be running and uses denuvo and vmprotect drm. It's also on the Windows Store but only if you sign into your Windows 10 install with a hotmail account.

GTA6 isn't being worked on. From last October:

In an extensive interview with GQ, the Rockstar co-founder discussed how his flagship franchise's tone doesn't quite mesh with the current cultural climate:

"It’s really unclear what we would even do with [GTA 6], let alone how upset people would get with whatever we did. Both intense liberal progression and intense conservatism are both very militant, and very angry. It is scary but it’s also strange, and yet both of them seem occasionally to veer towards the absurd.

"It’s hard to satirise for those reasons. Some of the stuff you see is straightforwardly beyond satire. It would be out of date within two minutes, everything is changing so fast."

That Houser says he's glad GTA6 isn't releasing today in the current political climate, and that he wonders how to satirize current events, does not mean GTA6 isn't being worked on. Whether in pre-production or further down the road, I'm sure there is work being done on GTA6.

I hope Rockstar find a way to release it this generation, like they did with GTA5, and I can imagine them bringing it over to next-gen consoles a year or two later, once those have hit their strides.
