There will always be a good deal to be had, like the Lenovo you just got. It may to me able to play @ 4K but it can play and it was very reasonable for what it packed!

This is trueThat laptop is a zero regret purchase for me.
Ditto.
It’ll be even better when I get the 2nd SSD for it, and the cooling pad < not sure which one yet, but it’ll help to keep fan noise at a minimum I hope.
Look up a YouTube vis on how to open the Lenovo, not easy from what I saw. You may need a prying tool.
Oh? I’ll try to find the video I watched. It all looked easy and pretty straight forward.
Edit: Here it is, and yes there’s some prying.

The side vents are tough to pry open without breaking something from what I saw.
I’ll let you know![]()
I would suggest a Nylon tool for the prying - should prevent scratching and hopefully not snap anything. I used them when I was upgrading the speakers and head-unit on my WRX - great tool to get things open without leaving marks
Why you messing with a brand new laptop?
Why you messing with a brand new laptop?
These are the sorta things that made me jump for an upgrade now. I work in IT, I'm seeing the insanely massive delays for Enterprise and consumer grade hardware. It's going to hit everything and it's only going to get worse till about 2023 or longer.
Makes me wonder how hard it'll be to get new GPU parts next gen.![]()
