The advantage of 1440P is you can get a larger monitor. 1080P does not look very good on a 27 inch or larger because the pixel density is too low.
If you have a 24 inch or smaller monitor then 1080P is fine because the monitor is small enough that you can't really tell anyway. But, honestly, being on a 32 inch now, bigger really is better.![Cool :cool: :cool:](/board/data/assets/smilies/cool.png)
Anyway, at current prices 1440P is not really affordable, but it's kind of moot because neither is 1080P. Either this is a short term anomaly and GPU prices go back down in six to twelve months, or PC Gaming is basically going to die off.
