Games Finished June 2022

Did you play alone or in co-op? There's a big difference in fun factor.

I played co-op. I don't think I'd have enjoyed the game much at all solo. I still felt like it was a bit too long. I did enjoy it for the most part, but there just wasn't enough variety in enemies in the first two chapters and it started to drag toward the end of the second. Chapter 3 switched things up and was clearly a higher quality than the first two, so things picked up again in the last third, but I was also glad when I made it to the end.

I guess its a game not for everyone.

Personally I love it. Zombie Army 4 as well. My brothers and I play them a lot and we compete to see who gets the highest score. Love the combo system.

Looks like june was a bit of a wash. In fact looks like 2022 could be the lowest year on records :(

Might also be because there are no good games out. Heck only one I remember this year is Horizon 2. Everything else wasn’t exciting for me to indulge.

I enjoyed that entire series of games. Shame that they ended 2 the way they did, considering a BOUT3 is unlikely.

Oh, and incidentally, another 0 for me.

BOUT 1+2 were both good. Critter Chronicles didn't do it for me. Partly because Nate wasn't an especially likeable character, but simply it just didn't engage the way the other two did. I agree that it would be a shame if we don't get a third game.

I'm sure there's tons of older games you guys have missed that you could be playing.

I play through at least 1-2 games a month but I never really think to post them here. Just not to interested in logging them.

It's true. I have a backlog I should be working on, which includes games I own and game pass trash.... quality titles.

1 - Zombie Army Trilogy - liked the game at first, but it ended up dragging on too long. It would have been better as a duo with the first chapter and the last chapter I think.

I need to revise my claims for June. It should be 2.

In addition to ZAT, I also finished a Blood Bowl 2 League with friends and won't be playing the game again.

As far as BB goes, I strongly don't recommend it! The game itself is programmed well enough, but the underlying board game is basically sheer randomness and frustration, masquerading as a game that has strategy. If you don't take it seriously it may be OK, but the more effort you put into it, the more miserable it becomes since the dice will randomly screw all of your well designed plans! I haven't been made this angry by a game since the original EQ!

I have similar memories of playing the original Blood Bowl. Not a fun game.
